Celtic Medallion

Materials:

 

Amate Studios Deep Welled Round Pendant in copper 60990142

2 balls green clay (Viva Décor Pardo Jewellery Clay in Amazonite)

Geometric Swirl Background stamp (Rubber Stampede)

Perfect Pearls™ powdered pigment in Perfect Bronze (Ranger)

Clay knife, toothpick, fine sandpaper, jewelry glue

 

Instructions:

 

  1. Knead clay until soft and smooth.  Roll out between 2 pieces of waxed paper until about 1/8” thick. 
  2. Press stamp into clay.  Select an area for the pendant and press the pendant into the clay to create an impression.  Cut out with a clay knife.
  3. Smooth edges with your finger.  Gently place clay into pendant without touching the top stamped surface.  Use a toothpick around the edge to carefully lift it into place.  Gently press down to remove any air bubbles.  Dust the surface of the clay with powdered pigment.
  4. Place the pendant on a tile or glass dish and prop with smaller tiles so that it will lie flat while it bakes.  Bake according to the manufacturer’s directions.
  5. Let pendant cool completely.  Gently sand the ridges of the swirls of the pendant.
  6. Pop clay from pendant, add glue and replace pendant.
Quick & Easy Kids’ 2 Sided Sports Pendant

Supplies Needed:

•Amate Studios Medium Oval Bezel Blank #084-D in Gold.
•2” Clear Packing Tape
•Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller (Permanent)
•2 Small Sports Photos
•Scissors
•Pen or Pencil
•A piece of scrap paper

Instructions:

1. Find 2 small sports pictures-if you use something from a sports
program or magazine, be sure to pick something that doesn’t show
logos, as you could run up against copyright issues. You can also use
photos that you have taken.

2. Place Bezel Blank over your picture & trace the oval with a pen or
pencil. This piece will be to large
to fit in the Bezel Blank, but gives you something easier to work with.

3. Place Picture on top of the Bezel Blank, cenering it where you
want it. Hold in place with one finger & use the fingernail of a
finger on your other hand to score along the inside edge of the bezel
all around the oval, marking the oval to trim.

4. Trim oval picture & check that it fits well in your Bezel Blank.

5. Cut approximately 4” of packing tape & place sticky side UP on
your work surface.

6. Place your pictures gently, picture side DOWN on the tape & gently
smooth,
then fold the tape down over the backs of your pictures.

7. Trim away excess tape, so now your picture is covered on both sides.

8. Place your tape covered pictures face down on a piece of scrap
paper & roll on Scotch Adhesive Dots,
completely covering the backs of your pictures.

9. Carefully set your pictures on either side of the Bezel Blank &
being sure to rub with even pressure across the entire surface.

Instructions:

 

  1. Layer the inside of your component with the foam dimensional.
  2. Stamp your image on thick card stock using your Staz on ink pad; cut image out.
  3. Using your Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, begin to outline the shamrock image one at a time with the glue and add glitter- let dry.
  4. Peel off all the dimensional backing and adhere image to the center.
  5. Add micro beads around image to stick to the open areas on the dimensions.
  6. Carefully add the art gel to the pendant and add more micro beads to any open areas you have or for a layered look.
  7. Once pendant is dry, add a little glue to the backs of the Swarovski crystals and place them to the center of the shamrocks.

Supplies:

Amate Studios "T-Shirt" Pendant 60600163
High quality photo paper
"Varsity" font from www.dafont.com
"Library Pocket" Punch by McGill
Zip Dry Paper Glue by Beacon
Easy Cast by Environmental Technology

Directions:
  1. Download "Varsity" font to your computer or use another font. Use your word processing program to play with the lettering and numbers so that they will fit into the Amate Studios T Shirt Pendant. Depending on how much information you want on the jersey depends on what fonts you will use. Print images on high quality photo paper.
  2. Punch out images with the McGill "Library Pocket" punch.
  3. Glue paper into the Amate Studios T Shirt Pendant with Zip Dry Paper Glue by Beacon. Set aside to dry.
  4. Mix Easy Cast according to directions on packaging. (When using Easy Cast you may want to make several pieces at once so there is no waist.)
  5. Set piece aside to dry according to package directions.
  6. Attach to a keychain or a zipper pull to show off your team spirit!

“Create” Necklace

Materials:

  • 40” silk cord (green/pink)
  • 60” tulle ribbon (cream)
  • Old book pages
  • Assorted printed papers
  • Ranger’s Glossy Accents
  • Size 11 Toho seen beads (silver lined clear)
  • Small alphabet stamp set
  • Permanent Ink pad (black)   

 

Tools:

  • Decorative edge scissors
  • Strong clear drying adhesive

 

Instructions:

 

    1. Trace and cut out the shapes of all the pendants onto the paper of your choice.
    2. After you’ve figured out the position of each pendant, stamp a letter onto each piece of paper. Let the ink completely dry.
    3. Glue each piece of paper into their appropriate pendant and allow the glue to dry.
    4. Sprinkle each pendant with a small amount of seed beads. Try not to cover up the letters completely.
    5. Apply a thick layer of Glossy Accents to each pendant. Allow them to dry in a safe, dust free place. It might take up to 48 hours to fully cure. See the manufactures instructions for helpful tips.
    6. Now you can assemble the necklace by using the silk thread and the tulle together. String on the pendants and tie a knot in between each of them. Cut off any excess tulle and tie a small knot at each end.
