Bracelet with Collage Pendant!
By Cathie Filian and Steve Piacenza DIY Network 4/6/06
Got a friend you want to send a loving message to? How about creating a bracelet with a collage pendant that can be customized for any occassion? These bracelets make wonderful bridesmaids gifts, beautiful birthday presents and grand graduation gifts.
Tools Needed:
1 Amate Pendant Tray (blank)
Misc. paper
Old magazines
Ultra fine glitter
1 small rhinestone
Glue stick
Diamond Glaze
15-12mm sized pearls
Elastic cording
Jump ring
Round nose pliers
Scissors
Directions:
1. Thread the 15 pearls onto the elastic cord and tie off with a secure double knot. You could alos use a jump ring to attach the pendant to a bracelet you already own.
2. Designing the pendant:
This is the fun part...Begin by cutting a piece of paper so that it will cover the bottom/inside of the pendant tray. Glue stick the paper to the bottom of the pendant tray.
3. Next cut fun shapes from additional scrapbook papers, magazines, etc. Shapes like flowers, hearts, leaves--small enough to fit in the pendant tray. Rummage through old magazines to find cute words like 'love', 'hope', 'smile', 'kiss', etc. Cut the words out in a 'ransom note' style. Position the cutouts in the pendant tray in your desired patter and glue stick them in place.
4. Add a touch of sparkle by gluing a small rhinestone and sprinkling a bit of ultra-fine glitter in the pendant tray. Allow to dry.
5. Adding the glassy finish: Apply Diamond Glaze in one continuous stroke covering all the papers and glitter until you have reached the sides and top of the pendant tray. This will appear foggy but will dry clear. Allow to dry on a flat surface for at least 24 hours.
6. Once dry, attach the pendant to the bracelet with pliers and a jump ring.

Pink Swirled UTEE Pendant!
By Robin Beam
Create a gorgeous pendant using the Melting Pot (tm) and UTEE (tm).
Materials List -
(1) Create a template for the inside dimension of the pendant on paper and cut out with a piece of scrap paper. (4) Pour out a puddle of UTEE onto the Non-Stick Craft Sheet. Option: use a toothpick or piece of wire to “marbleize” UTEE. (5) Allow UTEE to cool enough so it can be peeled off of the Craft Sheet, but still warm enough to be cut. (6) Place template over area of cooling UTEE that is aesthetically pleasing to be placed in pendant and cut out. (7) Place piece of UTEE into pendant tray and trim as necessary so it fits into tray properly. (9) Place pendant onto length of Beadalon wire and string on chosen beads until desired length of necklace is achieved. (10) Add on crimp bead to one end of necklace followed by clasp; run wire back through crimp bead and with crimping pliers or wire pliers, crimp bead. Repeat for opposite side of necklace. Trim wire.

Tsukineko Stazon Ink (www.tsukineko.com)
Various Rubber Stamps

Flat Embellishments
TIPS: Use flat embellishments. Adding Stamped images with Tsukineko Stazon Ink will add wonderful color to your scrapbook with out making your scrapbook thick. Try not to use a lot of layers, and be careful if you make the accordion any longer. If you do either of these it will make the scrapbook too thick for the pendant.
